Worship resonates with the very core of who we are. We know we were created to glorify God. Therefore worship is something we do with every aspect of our lives. When we come together on Sunday, we continue that worship together as a family. We do this through practices both ancient and contemporary; the singing of songs, the act of corporate prayer, the practice of the Lord’s Supper, and the public confession of our faith in Jesus are aspects of this worship. Since we are blessed to be a multi-generational church, our style reflects a wide variety of worship experiences.

We tend to teach with life-change in mind. We believe that the teaching of God’s Word should connect in power and clarity with our everyday lives, and the world around us. We believe that the words of Scripture explain things as they really are, and, as His disciples, we simply need to hear them and then put them into practice.

We are part of the Baptist General Conference, an association of churches that share similar doctrinal beliefs and a passion for expanding God’s kingdom.

We are organized as a congregational church with a strong commitment as well to strong pastoral leadership under the guidance of the Great Shepherd (I Pet. 5:1-4).

Our Lord Jesus is not a great respecter of wealth or position and He calls us to be the same. He is the great friend of all of us who are needy and spiritually destitute. If you have a hunger for spiritual things, a taste for spiritual “adventure,” and a desire for Christian community, you are welcome.
